Adding Facebook Pixel to your event

You can add Facebook Pixel to your events to track Facebook ad-driven visitor activity on your website. By adding Facebook Pixel ID you can:

•    Track your event page visitors and devices they use
•    Track conversions (ticket purchase), so you can measure ad effectiveness
•    Define custom audiences, so you can target visitors who are more likely to convert and more..

Requirements

Before you can add Facebook Pixel to your events, you will need your Pixel ID which you can find in the Facebook Ad Manager>Event Manger. If you have not created a Pixel, follow the first step from these instructions to create one.

Add Facebook Pixel ID to your event

  1. Go to your organisation dashboard
  2. Click on the more option located at the bottom of the left menu
  3. You will get the Tracking Codes option from the left side of the menu panel, as shown in the following Picture.
  4. Click Add Tracking.Just like the following picture, here, you will see three options. Options are Facebook, Google Adwords and Google Analytics.
  5. Click Facebook, and you will see the option to put your Facebook Pixel ID.
  6. Now click Save.
  7. You are all set to track your Facebook campaign.

Verify your Facebook Pixel is working

Install the Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome extension. Visit your event page and check the extension. You should see your pixel.
