Single ticket vs. Group ticket!
Wondering which ticket is more suitable for your event?
Read more to learn how each of our tickets function and decide which is more suited to your preference.
EventBookings offers you two types of tickets, which can be customised seperately for each ticket.
- Single tickets - Single tickets are tickets sold independently. Just like group tickets, they can be individually customised to have their own total number, or the restriction over attendees and also an individual early bird discount section. However, they have the unique feature of adding sub-tickets.
For example if you have two types of tickets called Parents and Kids Tickets, you can also have sub-categories for these types such as Gold, Silver or Bronze. So each of your Parents tickets or Kids Tickets will have 3 types of ticket underneath it.
You can also use the description box below to explain your ticketing strategy, since this description will appear below your ticket listing on your event's detail page.
Note: One key thing to note is that if you add sub-types of tickets, the base price you have to enter first is ignored and the prices entered for the sub-tickets are considered.
- Group tickets - Group tickets are tickets sold in a bundle. For example - you could combine 2 adult ticket and 2 children ticket to form one bundle ticket, and customers who buy one group ticket will have access to all 4 tickets with 2 adult and 2 children. Just like single tickets, they can be individually customised to have
their own total number, or the restriction over attendees and also an
individual early bird discount section.
Note: Here Tickets per group represents the number of tickets in the group bundle where as Total Tickets represent the number of group tickets you want to have for your event.
Once you have added your tickets, your screen should look something like this.
